Looking North-West over Acadia Valley, circa 2005

(Only one Elevator of 3 remains, it is now known as The Prairie Elevator Museum). The tracks are gone, except 100 ft at the elevator under a restored caboose.

From the elevator west along the old railway bed, on railway avenue of course, a new subdivision has been developed and 10 new homes & a new business has been built in the past few years. We have only 6 lots left in this newest subdivision.

In the center of the picture are the Community Hall, Curling Club And Arena Complex, Firehall and MD Shops.

Don't be mislead by this 2005 photo, we are a moisture deficeint area, this past year was very wet except for the month of July, of course, when its really needed .
