The MD of Acadia employs a Community Peace Officer through a cost-share agreement with the Special Areas Board. The Peace Officer is responsible for the enforcement of various Provincial and Federal legislation as well as municipal bylaws and policies.
Our Peace Officer also coordinates the movement of heavy equipment as well as oil and gas drilling and construction operations in the MD of Acadia.
